Every Livara mobility scooter is factory-limited to 10 km/h — the maximum speed permitted for footpath use in Australia. The limiter is set at the factory and is not adjustable by the rider. No licence and no CTP insurance are required in NSW, VIC, SA or WA; Queensland requires registration, which is free and includes CTP cover.

• Portable & folding — from 23 kg, folds for transport and storage. Best for shopping centres, holidays and flat footpaths. 16–22 km per charge.
• Mid-size 4-wheel — 30–35 km per charge, up to 150 kg capacity, front basket and full lighting. Best for daily errands within a few suburbs.
• Heavy-duty & canopy — up to 270 kg capacity, suspension, weather canopy, 30–50 km per charge. Best for longer trips, hills and rough ground. These models are delivered by freight and are not designed to be lifted into a car — you will need garage, shed or carport storage with a power point for charging.

Before you order, check three things: where it will be used, how it will be transported and stored, and the rider's weight against the model's rated capacity. Rules for footpath use differ by state and change over time — check the current rules where you live before you ride.
