Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the weight limit for this hanging egg chair? A: The chair is engineered to safely support up to 130 kg (286 lbs), accommodating most adults comfortably with a secure hanging mechanism.

Q: Is the cushion truly waterproof? A: Yes, the cushion features waterproof polyester fabric that repels moisture and light rain. For optimal longevity, we recommend bringing cushions indoors during heavy rainfall or extended periods of non-use.

Q: Can this chair be used outdoors? A: Absolutely! The chair is designed for both indoor and covered outdoor use. The all-weather synthetic rattan and powder-coated steel frame withstand the elements well. For best results, place under covered areas like patios or porches to protect from direct rain and harsh weather.

Q: Does this require ceiling installation? A: No! This is a freestanding design with its own sturdy stand, so no ceiling drilling or mounting is required. Simply assemble and place it anywhere you like.

Q: How difficult is assembly? A: Assembly is straightforward and requires minimal effort. All necessary tools and hardware are included, along with clear instructions. Most users complete setup in 30-45 minutes.

Q: What's included in the package? A: Your complete package includes: 1 hanging egg chair, 1 freestanding steel stand (195cm height), 1 waterproof cushion set, hanging chain with secure attachments, all assembly hardware and tools, and detailed instructions.

Q: How much space does this chair need? A: The compact footprint (approximately 105cm wide × 70cm deep) makes it ideal for smaller spaces. We recommend allowing at least 150cm of clearance around the chair for comfortable swinging motion.

Q: Can I remove the cushion for cleaning? A: Yes, the cushion is removable for easy maintenance. Spot clean with mild soap and water, or wipe down with a damp cloth. The waterproof cover makes cleaning simple.

Q: Will the chair fade in sunlight? A: The synthetic rattan and powder-coated steel are designed to resist fading. However, some natural color changes may occur with prolonged direct sun exposure. We recommend placing in shaded or covered outdoor areas for best appearance retention.

Q: Is the stand stable on different surfaces? A: Yes, the wide base provides excellent stability on various surfaces including tile, wood, concrete, and outdoor decking. For delicate indoor flooring, consider using protective pads to prevent scratching.

Q: How high does the seat sit from the ground? A: The seat hangs approximately 40-50 cm from the ground, providing comfortable access while allowing for a gentle, relaxing swinging motion.

Q: Can this chair be used by children? A: While the chair can accommodate children, adult supervision is always recommended. The 130kg weight capacity ensures safety for most users, but we suggest monitoring young children to prevent rough play.

Q: How do I maintain this chair? A: Maintenance is simple—wipe the rattan weave with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Clean the steel frame with a soft cloth as needed. Remove and clean the cushion periodically. Store indoors or cover during harsh weather to extend the chair's lifespan.

Q: Does the chair swing freely? A: Yes! The chair is designed to gently swing and rotate, creating a soothing, relaxing experience. The secure chain system allows for smooth, controlled movement.
