Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the maximum weight capacity of this egg chair? A: The chair features a robust steel frame designed to safely support up to 120-130 kg (264-286 lbs), making it suitable for most adults with confidence.

Q: How does the foldable mechanism work? A: The basket features an intuitive collapsible design that folds flat for compact storage. No tools are required for folding—simply follow the straightforward mechanism for easy seasonal storage or space-saving needs.

Q: Is this chair suitable for outdoor use year-round? A: The chair is constructed with weather-resistant PE rattan and durable polyester materials that handle outdoor conditions well. For optimal longevity, we recommend placing it in covered areas or storing it during extreme weather conditions like heavy storms or winter months.

Q: What makes this chair "premium" compared to standard egg chairs? A: This premium version features an extra-spacious basket (108cm wide), enhanced 15cm cushion thickness, heavier-grade 200g/m² polyester fabric, and superior materials for increased comfort and durability compared to standard models.

Q: How long does assembly take? A: Assembly is simple and typically takes 30-45 minutes. The package includes all necessary hardware, components, and clear step-by-step instructions for hassle-free setup.

Q: Is the cushion waterproof? A: The cushion is made from 200g/m² polyester fabric that offers water resistance against light rain and moisture. However, we recommend bringing cushions indoors during heavy rainfall or extended periods of non-use to maintain their quality.

Q: Does the chair come with the stand? A: Yes! Your purchase includes the complete set: the foldable egg chair, sturdy steel support pole (195cm height), wide base (950 x 950mm), cushion, hanging hardware, and all assembly components.

Q: Can I wash the cushion cover? A: Yes, the cushion features a removable cover that can be spot cleaned or gently hand washed with mild detergent. Allow to air dry completely before replacing.

Q: How much floor space does this chair require? A: The base measures 950 x 950mm, and we recommend allowing approximately 150-200cm of clearance around the chair for comfortable entry/exit and gentle swinging motion.

Q: What's the seat height from the ground? A: The seat hangs approximately 40-50 cm from the ground, providing comfortable access while allowing for relaxing movement.

Q: Will the rattan fade or deteriorate outdoors? A: The PE rattan is designed to be UV-resistant and weather-durable. While it maintains its appearance well, some natural fading may occur with prolonged direct sunlight exposure. Placing under covered areas helps preserve its appearance.

Q: Is the base stable on various surfaces? A: Yes, the wide 950 x 950mm base provides excellent stability on concrete, tile, wood decking, grass, and other surfaces. For delicate indoor floors, we recommend using protective pads.

Q: What's included in my package? A: Your complete package includes: 1 foldable egg chair basket, 1 steel support pole and base, 1 thick 15cm cushion, hanging chain and secure hooks, all assembly hardware, and detailed instructions.

Q: How do I maintain and care for this chair? A: Maintenance is easy—wipe the rattan weave with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Clean the steel frame as needed. Spot clean or remove the cushion cover for washing. When not in use for extended periods, fold and store indoors or use a protective cover to ensure lasting beauty and functionality.
